Executive Team CPOrg.net believes it has the key management in place to guide the company's growth into the new millennium. Our management team combines the experience of executives with extensive backgrounds in managing and developing both for profit and not-for-profit organizations as well as successful independent consulting services. The management staff embodies a critical range of industry experience including business development, comprehensive fund raising services, finance, marketing and administration. DOUGLAS A. PETERSEN, is the founder, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of the company. Mr. Petersen previously founded and successfully developed D. A. Petersen Associates, Inc. into the premier human and financial service fundraising consulting firm in the Midwest. Mr. Petersen has over 35 years experience in the profit and not-for-profit sectors. Among the organizations he has served are the YMCA and the American Red Cross (Minneapolis and National). He received the first "Professional Fund Raiser of the Year Award" from the American National Red Cross and has been an "Expert in Residence" in estate planning and gift planning for the Kellogg Foundation. He is responsible for setting up many of the primary vendor relationships for CPOrg.net and continues to serve as chairman of D.A. Petersen Associates, Inc. and its wholly owned subsidiaries Development Counsel, Inc. and Integral Partners Group, Inc. WILLIAM LORIMER, Ph.D., serves as President and a Director of the Company. He specializes in leadership development and team training to provide clients a solid integration between their leadership strategies and the day to day work of their paid and volunteer teams. Dr. Lorimer received his doctorate from Notre Dame. He was formerly head of product development for Wilson Learning Corporation, an international leader in strategic management and sales training. Since 1988, he has successfully consulted in the not-for-profit sector. CURTIS ("PETE") NELSON, is Vice President of Business Strategy and a Director of the Company,. Prior to joining CPOrg.net, Mr. Nelson served as President of Portanza, LLC, a Twin Cities based consulting company. Prior to forming Portanza, Mr. Nelson was an executive with Computing Devices International, a Ceridian company where his duties ranged from international marketing to special projects program management. His academic background is in physics and math. He was named "Entrepreneur of the Year" in 1997 by the Minnesota High-technology Association for his work in creating DigitalXpress, a satellite based IP data delivery system, and other projects. He is the author of several publications dealing with the impact of technology on the evolution of organizational structures and has one patent for processing digital video data from commercial broadcast satellites. BARRY KINSEY, Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Director of the Company, is an executive with 23 years of marketing and advertising experience for Campbell Mithun Esty, a major national agency and now Managing Director of The IP Group, a division of D.A. Petersen Associates, Inc. Mr. Kinsey specializes in the development and execution of multi-million dollar strategic business marketing and advertising plans. His clients have included General Mills, Pillsbury, Century 21, International Dairy Queen and Land O Lakes among others. MICHAEL W. WALGREN, serves as Vice President of Administration and Director of the Company. A versatile development professional with extensive experience in administration and not-for-profit management, Mr. Walgren has served in a management capacities for NFP organizations ranging from a "one person" fundraising staff to senior administrative positions with the Minnesota Medical Foundation and Minneapolis and St. Paul Children's Hospitals and Clinics Foundation. |
